SCUBA diving is sensual. To breathe underwater is one of the most fascinating and peculiar sensations imaginable. Breathing becomes a rhythmic melody of inhalations and exhalations. The cracks and pops of fish and crustaceans harmonize with the rhythmic chiming of the bubbles as you exhale. Soon, lungs act as bellows, controlling your buoyancy as you achieve weightlessness. And, as in your dreams, you are flying. Combine these otherworldly stimuli and you surrender completely to the sanctuary of the underwater world.

- Team building workshops drive individuals from corporates to switch gears. It facilitates individuals to consider other peoples perspectives and think out of the box. We at West Coast will help you to do just that but with a twist- Underwater!
BUBBLE ADVENTURES
- Scuba Diving is also open to children. Kids 8 years and upwards can experience scuba diving but are limited to depth and location. Their adventure can begin at the XLR8 pool. We have designed Bubble Adventures so that children can experience scuba diving at an early age. Our program not only introduces them to breathing under water, but provides them with a fun learning experience where they learn about the aquatic life in the ocean.

OPEN WATER COURSE
The Open Water Certification course is the first step towards becoming a certified diver with an International Dive License. The course is divided into three parts and requires 4 days to be completed. An individual can choose from 3 of our Dive operations located at Goa, Murdeshwar and Kapu.
A variation of the Open Water course is for the individual who would like to save money and time. They have the option of splitting the course, completing 2/3rd of the course in Bengaluru. Saving 2 days of their vacation and gaining the confidence to dive before they arrive at their destination. The remaining 1/3rd of the course, which are the 4 open water dives (at sea) can be completed in Goa, Murdeshwar or Kapu where our Dive operations are located. If the individual choose to complete it elsewhere we are happy to assist them with their dive plan.
The Pool Sessions will be conducted at XLR8 and will require 2 days to complete.
Duration – 4 Days
Prerequisites
1) minimum age 10 yrs old
2) Should be Physically Fit : should be able to tread in water for at least 10 Minutes.
- Day 1 - You will watch the Open water Course videos and answer the corresponding Knowledge reviews with the help of your Instructor, Once you have completed all the chapters, your instructor and you will discuss the plans for day 2 of confined water sessions.
- Day 2 - You will meet the instructor at the pool. This day is a practical session for everything you learnt in the classroom. You will practise how to set up and how to dismantle the gear before and after the dives and you will be thought proper care and maintenance for SCUBA equipment. In the water you will learn skills that you will need to become a responsible and safe diver. Starting with the basics and gradually moving to the advanced skill. You will also be required to do a 200 meter swim and ten minute float.
- Day 3 & Day 4 – Finally!! The day you have been waiting for. You will apply everything that you learnt during your theory and confined water sessions into 4 open water dives. The final part of your certification is the open water quiz and final exam. Once you successfully complete the exam you will be a certified Open water diver.
POOL TRY DIVE
- The Pool try dive is designed for individuals who would like to know if Scuba diving is a sport that they would like to invest their time in. It’s also designed for those who can’t swim but are curious about being underwater.
ADVANCE CERTIFICATION COURSE
- The Advance Course focuses on improving an individual’s dive technique, adapting to new environments and equipment while enjoying 5 unique experiences. We also offer Speciality Courses for individuals who seek to attain the highest level of recreational diving – The Master Scuba Diver.
RESCUE COURSE
- The Rescue Diver course builds confidence as a diver by being aware about safety and the safety of other around. By the end of the course an individual will not only learn how to identify and prevent potential accidents but also learn how to handle an incident above and below the water.
DIVEMASTER COURSE
- Divemaster is the first professional level – as a Divemaster, a dive professional is qualified to supervise certified divers in their scuba diving activities, and can help Instructors and Assistant Instructors with their teaching, as a certified assistant.
